A High-Impact Leadership OpportunityA leading behavioral health organization is seeking a visionary, board-certified psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director-a critical executive role shaping clinical strategy, care delivery, and program development within a dynamic inpatient setting. This is an opportunity to lead, influence, and elevate care while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Why This Role Matters
As Medical Director, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering directly with senior leaders to guide clinical direction and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory excellence.
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, collaborating closely with the CEO, CFO, COO, and EVP
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all clinical services
- Develop, recommend, and implement clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Direct and coordinate psychiatric services, including oversight of medical staff and APRNs
- Ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of all psychiatric and medical care delivered to hospitalized patients
- Maintain a limited clinical caseload (up to six patients)
- Participate in shared weekend and evening call coverage with other employed physicians
What We're Looking For
• Board-certified psychiatrist (adult or child)
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
• 5+ years of leadership experience in inpatient behavioral health
• Expertise in clinical operations, program development, and team leadership
• Strong business acumen and understanding of healthcare financial models
• Passion for driving patient-centered, high-quality care
