Requirements

Strong student assessment skills, keep current with professional practice in school psychology, strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal relations and collaborative teaming skills with all stakeholders, critical thinking and problem solving skills, calm demeanor during crisis situations, ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively, ability to communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds. Must have strong computer technology skills.

CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Specialist’s Degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited college or university

Previous school experience preferred.
